Hey there,

Can you either rename or delete your Data folder then download this

Run it inside the folder where wow.exe is and select 4.3.4 and the language you want. It will download all the files in the Data folder from blizzard needed for the client to run correctly.

If you do still have issues after doing this let us know and I can provide a copy of the 4.3.4 files in the WoW folder.

Given that so many tools and utilities seem geared to Cmangos these days, it sure would be nice if we could carry on development of Quice to fully support MaNGOS.

I wonder if porting it over to C++ would help spur continued development? Given the work of Devs like Antz and others on various editors and utilities, do we even need Quice these days?

It would be nice if we had a tool that did all this and was able to display chat messages for alliance/horde factions .... maybe just trade chat or something.

I've run into a wall using this method. I used valcriss' wowregeneration tool to download the 4.3.4 client (enUS). I got the Wow.exe from the .mpq and edited its version. I downloaded the recommended repair.exe. The repair.exe detects the correct version, but it times out downloading backgrounddownloader.exe every time. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a workaround?

I also tried downloading all of the patches manually using WoWWiki's patch mirrors list, but hit another wall because the enUS PC version of the 4.3.0 patch is apparently not available anywhere (I didn't notice this until I had downloaded all of the patches from 3.whatever.comes.on.the.wrath.DVD to 4.2.2!)

I then tried simply downloading the full client itself that someone had packaged up, but that was enGB, and ad.exe exploded when trying to extract the maps anyway.

This client seems unattainable!

This wont consume much time, and if we became busy a mod can ask for additional mods for their area.

Skype does have text chat like our forum chat box. We don't actually talk to each other over skype we just type.

Moderators will need to be able to speak both english and the language they wish to help with and translate.... No google translating that is cheating and usually wrong!

Our developers will work with moderators to assist users in the international boards. Moderators are required to have skype and are expected to translate both for the user requesting support to english and back to there own language for the developers giving support.
