Ummm, I hate to bump this, but I don't want it to fall to the bottom of the forums when its a working patch, not a work in progress.

I've been trying to debug MaNGOS with the GNU debugger through Cygwin on Windows Vista. I compiled a debug core (Win32_Debug, not the PCH one) with VC++2008 Express on a different computer. Whenever I try to start it up with GDB I get this error message: Starting program: /cygdrive/d/mangos/debug/mangosd Error creating process /cygdrive/d/mangos/debug/mangosd, (error 14001). I read somewhere that the problem was that the machine it runs on needs to have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package installed in order for the application to run. I installed this and it still gives the same error. Anyone have an idea on what is wrong?

Does the main spell (http://www.wowhead.com/spell=53563) apply the aura to people within 60 yards?

I know it's not a hugely important fix, but is there any reason for this to not be implemented?

I was looking into implementing a fix for Heartpierce, the ICC 25 man dagger. I went to test it on my server and found that it procs Blessing of Light. Blessing of Light is supposed to be procced by a different ICC 25 man weapon Last Word (which does work...). But I'm confused to why Wowhead would say that Blessing of Light is procced by Heartpierce and even more confused to why this exact situation happens ingame on a Mangos server. Where is the spell trigger information held for weapons like this?

Ok, thanks for the answer. I was thinking about how to do the Glyph too, if it's bugged or not. Would MaNGoS accept a submission without the Glyph implemented, counting on it to be working through the database (since the glyph is just a passive 20% increase to the given spell rank)?

Currently, Lightwell (id = 48087), the Holy Priest spell, is not functioning properly. According to WoWHead, the spell summons the NPC "Lightwell" (id = 31883). Would the best way to get Lightwell working be to create a creature script for the NPC (I would be using SD2) and bind it to the NPC in the database? Or would the preferred way be through the original core?
