Hey all. The memory restriction in 32bit are nagging me, so tempted to update from windows 7 32bit to windows 7 64bit.

Is it possible to backup the mysql databases install 7 64bit, re-git grab, recompile and put it back with no loss? If not, then I'll stick with 32bit.

I've never used or seen 64bit, so don't really know if there are massive changes as to the way things work, or even if all of the software we use (.net, git, visual c++, etc), will work.

I have 12gigs of 1066 ram just waiting to replace my 400htz 3 gig pile of pants ram and am rather eager...but cautious

Just tried to do the friend or fowl achievement. Killed exactly 15 turkeys in under 2 minutes, so well within the criteria to complete it, but it doesn't work.

Has anyone have this working on their server? if so, how?

git reported me that my local changes of dbcediter/searchfrm.dfm would be overwritten and says than aborting

so i can´t make a patch file

I like your idea Cyberium. Numbers rather than percentages is ALWAYS (no matter what anyone says) going to be easier in the long run, so if you can implement such a system, that would be fantastic.

I've tried the standard @admin/admin, @admin/admin1; admin/admin1 and many other combinations.

Edit: Fixed. Managed to find a copy on the net and just copied the unused sha1_datas.php

Doesn't matter though as this seriously needs updating. I only wish I understood code. All dutch to me.

maybe the people who use mangos as online servers should chip in as they make lots of money from selling items and VIP accounts. this is your chance give back to the community's work which u use on your servers. another way is google ads,/ ads this should solve hosting bills

I'd be trying to sort out the crash problems, you wouldn't need a re-starter then.

Updating the core would be my first port of call.

Just updated to the new core 10352 and Ahbot and now the console shows this just before closing:-

Error in creature_template table, probably sql file format was updated (there sh

ould be 82 fields in sql).

I think it must have something to do with the vehicle patch sql I put in, which failed. My new core isn't patched with it now, but I still get this, so is there a way to repair that table back to 82 fields as I now count 83 and can't seem to find a clean one to compare with

I point you to these lines in your config:-

AuctionHouseBot.Account = *

AuctionHouseBot.Character = *

What I do is copy the entire vmap_extract_assembler_bin folder which is in your mangos/contrib folder, to your wow client and run makevmaps_SIMPLE.bat

That will not only do as you have done, but will use the building files to populate the vmaps folder. Then simply delete the buildings folder and move/copy the vmaps to your server folder.

Just to note, mangos rev is currently at 3.3.5a, unless of course you use 3.3.2....for whatever reason

...and for the second bit; how do you join a Wintergrasp queue? It's been a while since I played retail and think they took away the join queue part for that BG. Not sure how it's now implemented.
