It seems to me that VC++ 2008 can not find the "cmd.exe". Enter the location of your cmd.exe (most likely C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\) in "Tools" -> "Options..." -> "Projects and Solutions" -> "VC++ Directories". Choose "Executable files" in the drop-down menu then click on the folder icon and enter "C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\" or wherever your cmd.exe is. -
