Great, thanks. That did the trick. So I guess in future, I look up for the commit that I want and then match it with that long hash value. -

Hello, I was just wondering how I could get a certain revision (rev9582) of MaNGOS from git. I am more of a CVS person myself but can just about manage with SVN. But git baffles me slightly. Could anyone give me some hints? git checkout 9582 (as google.com told me) doesnt seem to work Thanks!
