I got my client directly from bliz. At least that way I knew it wsn't tampered with, as I have run into that problem before.

Some more info such as what database you are using, where did you get it from, HOW are you importing it and it's accompanying sql's. What core did you compile and do you have any other patches in use? Then perhaps we can help.

You said FILES and not just FILE, so I think you are trying to import both of the sql's. You only need to import characters_auctionhousebot.sql and not the update one. What I would do in your case is delete the table auctionhousebot in the characters DB and import fresh.

I've never known what these events are all about anyway. I did once race to gurubashi area to see what the fuss was about and nothing happened..lol

What patch? Are you reading the wrong thread? We are talking about the two files in the .rar file. No patch at all.

Just to re-iterate here. I checked out using normal repo and not xeross's 9661 though. Not tried anything newer.

well, mine didn't work, so i copied your files over to the game folder with the rest of the cpp stuff, cleared out the release folder, re-compiled and bingo. So yes it must be those two files doing something as I didn't re-git, merge, full grab, nothing.

Mine is 9661 with Kreegoth's two files and works perfectly, so your statement is incorrect temporary.

I just grabbed Kreegoth's two files, re-compiled, re-started the server and now my AH has items. I didn't do anything else. Many thanks Kreegoth. No idea what you did, but hey, it worked Hopefully xeross155 can figure out the how's and why's of it all.
