  1. I created a custom graveyard next to Gurubashi arena, and deleted the other two so that horde and alliance would both use this graveyard. Except when you die in Gurubashi now, you don't teleport to a graveyard and just stand next to your corpse.
  2. If this works then that's great, but if for whatever reason it doesn't I'll share what I did to fix my compile. I copied dep/ACE_wrappers/ace/config-freebsd.h to dep/ACE_wrappers/ace/config.h and added #define ACE_HAS_MEMCPY_LOOP_UNROLL to it, and it worked when i rebuilt everything. By the way there was also a problem with compiling VMaps on FreeBSD for me, it took me a very long time to fix this and I'm not exactly sure which trick I did that actually worked, but I think that it was by editing contrib/vmap_extractor_v3/vmapextract/CMakeLists.txt under "LINK_DIRECTORIES" to put the full directory to libmpq. This would be something like changing to If that fails I would try adding the path to your libmpq binaries in csh (ex: setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH ${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}:/path/to/libmpq} Thanks! This worked!
  3. I suggest that there be a patch so when you apply it, it adds those lines to that file and it should be called AceFreeBsdPatch or something.
  4. it worked but it's useless, I can't get ace or MaNGOS to even compile on my system. This is getting frustrating.
  5. Can you use another version of ace rather then the one that comes included with MaNGOS? I want to use my own version of ACE.
  6. there was a thread on the russian mangos.. but I cant speak Russian http://ru-mangos.ru/archive/index.php/t-75.html
  7. Well I restarted my vps and I just ran the normal make command which went this time I think because I dl'ed gmake but now I have ANOTHER error, refer to image. http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/12/63/27/30/captur13.png[/img]
  8. Well I installed and tried to use gmake and got the same error.
  9. I do admit Debian is a good operating system, but I am trying to learn the works of BSD.
  10. Maybe antiroot will be able to help, he's real nice with the FreeBSD. I know a few other people have had this error while trying to compile on FreeBSD, did anyone actually ever find a way to solve this or get it fixed?
  11. I am using FreeBSD 9.0 and I ran cmake fine but when I ran the make command I had an error, since I am not very good at describing my problem(s) I just took a picture because it shows the error in full detail http://i43.servimg.com/u/f43/12/63/27/30/captur12.png[/img]
  12. oh my god im going to shoot my toe if I see another russian spam thread
  13. It was an error with my wireless access point, it's fixed now.
  14. Now, that I have my OpenSSL libraries fixed I try to run my server to only be greeted by "the information you have typed in is incorrect" by WoW yes.. I set the realmlist. FAQ: I have set the IP in `realmlist` to my public IP. I have set the correct IP in the realmlist.wtf It's like the realmd is not working, it just tells me I have incorrect acc information.
  15. I've also noticed very english spam bots. This is getting pretty bad and more frequent.
  16. Well when I installed git-core I noticed it installed a package called "openssl" I think that package and "libssl" were conflicting, either way once I removed all "SSL's" and reinstalled them the problem was resolved.
  17. What's even more confusing is why they would be spamming the English "getmangos.eu" forum and not the Russian "getmangos.org" forum o_O
  18. I've noticed a lot of these lately in the "general support" forum, I've translated a few of them and they are irrelevant and the links lead to Russian online shops for random things. Whats going on here?
  19. Because this ^^^ is strange. Do you run lenny or did you install an old libssl? Debian is at 0.9.8o. Hth Skirnir system-xenonproject:~# cat /etc/issue Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 \\n \\l I could just apt-get remove openssl, and try to update apt? Then try again. You just said that.. nvm >_< HOWEVER: Package libssl is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source E: Package libssl has no installation candidate I think my best bet may to just install openSSL from the source code which I have tried but it didn't do anything, I ran it's "./configure" script, ran "make" and did "make install" but can't find any libraries or even tell that it did anything.
  20. The following packages have unmet dependencies: libssl-dev: Depends: libssl0.9.8 (= 0.9.8g-15+lenny13) but 0.9.8g-15+lenny14 is to be installed
  21. My sig is outdated, I am using debian now, also... The following packages have unmet dependencies: libcurl4-openssl-dev: Depends: libcurl3 (= 7.18.2-8lenny4) but 7.18.2-8lenny5 is to be installed Depends: libssl-dev but it is not going to be installed
