The parallel suggestion above would really be nice as it would allow gradual migration of existing patches (I am wondering how .patch files work without svn information to pull down the version the diff is for?). Personally I hate this new git though I'm sure if I can figure out how to get it past my firewall and actually work it might grow on me. (still getting socket errors)

Not sure if it's a known bug or just my lack of knowledge... but the Quests "The Howling Vale" and "A Touch of Zanzil" are uncompletable because of what I percieve as a glitch. Game objects Spool of Light Chartreuse Silk Thread (140911) and Tome of Mel'Thandris (19027) are spawned, and exist.. but not activatable by player characters that have the appropriate quests. However if one uses GM mode, and gets the quest.. the items sparkle and are right clickable (activatable). Is this a bug or something I have installed incorrectly?
