Weapon damage/related weapon stats affecting Feral Druids

    looong title..oops

As a feral druid, the only thing that -should- matter in terms of what i got in my weapon slot is the stats i gain from it. Raw stats, and raw stats only. Weapon damage, weapon-specific crit chance etc. did not affect feral DPS until a couple of expansions later.
Feral is 'unarmed' in vanilla, adding a 2% crit stone on my weapon/staff should make zero difference. Waste of mat. Here however, it actually counts, stacks on top of what i already have. Unfortunately, to give another example, same thing happens with boosting weapon damage. Enchants such as major impact..they actually stack, and boost my feral DPS once i shift.

Get you some good gear, enchant your staff with major impact (yes, your staff, lol) and go get some numbers..it's reaaally, really...OP was yesterday :)

This does not happen. I have a 33 NE druid and for giggles I gave him T2 gear and a very nice staff. His natural form DPS is almost double what it is in cat form. If what you are saying is true, I should get a DPS boost in cat form. I don't get that boost because my DPS is based off of stats in cat form.

Is there something special I need to do to make feral form increase DPS with a various weapon? My cat form DPS almost does not change when removing the weapon.

This is not a bug in current versions of MaNGOS. I am closing this with a status of "cannot reproduce". We still need output from your server to know what version you are running. This does not happen on our current version. I uploaded screenshots for you to see a NE druid in cat form with no weapon, and with an end-game weapon equipped. No change in DPS or damage done, only to the attack rating, which is correct.
