WoTLK installation problem

iliektetris

Question

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install WoW and patch it to 3.3.5a. Right now I've got Burning Crusade installed and can't for the love of god install WoTLK. Every time I launch the installer I get a message: Unable to initialize streaming. Please check your Internet connection. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support.
I tried turning off my firewall and Windows Defender, Safe mode with networking and many other things and none worked.
I understand that vanilla and tbc install completely from cd's/dvd's and wotlk needs to download something extra, so it requires internet connection.

I'm using Windows 8.1

Please help

If you patch TBC to WoTLK you will be limited to TBC only content. You need the actual WoTLK install disk to install full wrath.

Full offline 2.4.3 to 3.0.1 patch (limited TBC Content only) - https://mega.nz/#F!yUYCGA5Q!nsxHKy0d4ZhNrqj0zbM6Pw

Then you just need to apply the other patches from 3.2.0 upwards - https://www.getmangos.eu/downloads/category/11-wrath-of-the-lich-king/
