How to connect to server with a non-local client?

I've got Mangoszero up and running on my local system and it's working wonderfully. However, I would now like to be able to access the realm from my laptop when I'm away. Can someone recommend a document or website that might help me configure remote access to mangos (e.g., my laptop when I'm away from home)?

FYI, my local machine on which Mangoszero is running is behind a cable modem.
