here is announce patch however I'm sure its outdated...if you want it you need to update it (maybe even rewrite) for newest revision...

hi,

i have a problem, when you do .announce, or .notify, you can see

[WOW STAFF] text

or [ STAFF] text

i saw in some pservers the announce/notify are:

[staff][GMNAME] text

anyone know how to do it???

it can be useful not only for me

Ok I've done a 2 mins rewrite/update to newest version...try this version...I didn't tested it...but it should work (aldo I'm a bit rusty)

6767 is really, really old...

use git to get the newest version and check out the mangos-0.12 branch, that's the 2.4.3 version from mangos

thats the svn, mangos doesn't use svn, it uses git.

This don't work for me. I'm using mangos 0.13 rev 7791 sd 1049.

When I will write command ".nameannounce text " I seek "This is not such command".

Maybe someone help?

becouse the "nameannounce" command there isn't in the database (in the command table of world db). You must apply the announce_system.sql dump in your world database,generally named 'mangos'

anyway.. why this patch is not implemented in the master branch?

I was applying this sql file to db. This don't work. Maybe I should change gm lvl's to default. I must try.
