How to get only the log

I know there is a way to get the logs from the git server but i can't remember how i did it. I have the source code left as it is made in php, but the git folder is the key i don't remeber how i did set it up.

Can any one shade some light on this ??

What exactly do you mean by "logs" ? The "git log" command should show the log ...

Just to add - the log is stored locally (it's generated every time from commit parents, it isn't a text file).

You can get the "git directory" by using "git clone" as usual ... or try asking in a better way --
