[fix] stelath ranks

hi, i dont know i there is a topic abou this but there is the problem that since 330 stealth have only one rank (rank1) and players have in character_spell a spells with rank spells and its impossilble to learn only rank 1 so here is a little update

UPDATE character_spell SET spell = 1784 WHERE spell IN (1785, 1786, 1787);

Hmm I don't quite understand, are you saying Rogues are supposed to have more than 1 Stealth rank in 3.3.0?

Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): This ability no longer has multiple ranks. While active, the single rank of this ability (available at level 1) allows rogues to move at 70% movement speed.

No what he means is that after upgrading to 3.3 existing rogue characters still have stealth with rank other than 1 in spellbook, which they must not.

Though the fix is wrong IMHO, you'll attempt to create duplicate keys with that query. You have to delete old ranks from character_spell and set rank 1 active instead.

yes in 330 ranks 2-4 were moved to unused spells and only rank 1 remains, exisiting characters now have learned "unused" spells and they cant learn rank 1, this should help i hope

Well you could always type .unlearn all in-game as an admin.

Don't do it though, I did it once by accident because I thought it would only affect me, oh man what a headache
