3.3.2 map problem

yesterday i downloaded the mangos source (svn).

With the wiki, the installation was not a problem.

I have only one version of wow: 3.3.2; from there i extracted the maps, vmaps, buildings and dbc.

The problem is:

Map file '/opt/mangos/bin/maps/0004331.map' is non-compatible version (outdated?). Please, create new using ad.exe program.

Correct *.map files not found in path '/opt/mangos/bin/maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in '/opt/mangos/bin/vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.

But the maps are ok, they work fine with the arcemu for 3.3.2.

any ideas?

Man, first mangos-sources not in SVN, second how related maps for arcemu and maps for mangos? Use extractor which provided with sources.

yes use MaNGOS map extractor to extract maps ( http://github.com/mangos/mangos/tree/master/contrib/extractor/ ) from the client.

you downloaded from svn?? svn version of mangos is for the burning crusade it's about a year older than the current one

post error, i downloaded form git, not from svn.

I used the MaNGOS map extractor three times.

I even try to use an old mangos version (commit c7c8c8ed014dbbd034ae20e7d73beca38d7a4adc , before the 3.3.3 suport).

Now i have two errors:

mangos is on 3.3.3a build 11723. you're on 3.3.2a build 11403. update your client

What´s the mangos version for the 3.3.2 client?

i mean, a git tag that works with 3.3.2...

Starting from [9692] MaNGOS support only client version 3.3.3a (11723) at master branch

So, how about [9691]?

I know git history can be confusing when merging a some branch B into A, when A has been merged into B just before...as you may notice, there is no "Merge branch '330' into master" just before [9692].

Pick the actual [9691] (d6b3da1b8...), not what github shows just below [9692]...

If you look at the graph in gitk, you will see why your choice is not a 3.3.2 compatible core.

mmm the last version i tried was inferior to 9692... anyway, i´ll try with the 9691.
