vmaps and buildings folders

I have a question about the "Buildings" folder that's created while making "vmaps."

Is it necessary to keep the "Buildings" folder? One guide I've seen says to put both folders in the mangos server folder, and another guide says you can delete the "Buildings" folder and you only need "vmaps."

Does anyone know which is the truth? Is "Buildings" optional? Or no purpose to have there at all?

Once the vmaps folder has been fully populated, the buildings folder is obselete.

Delete the folder at your leisure
