i switched a few weeks ago to ubuntu on my private machine.

I know that there are a few giys out there developing on *nix, my question is:

is there a ide supported by mangos? What are you using, and which features doesnt work (compared to VS from MS)

Eclipse, Netbeans, Emacs ( I think you wont go for this if you switched from windows ).

KDevelop, Anjuta, SlickEdit (not free).

I personally prefer Eclipse atm ( but I sometimes switch IDE`s ). There are a lot of plugins for it.

I run an Ubuntu server and I have MaNGOS running natively and in wine without issues, the biggest problem I come across is all these cool toys to work with databases and what not and I can't use them on my Linux box, but other than that, the servers run smoother and the web server was hella easier to set up xD
