Wanting to learn

Ive been spending the last week diving head first into Mango's. Through a combination of teaching myself/reading old guides I have managed to get two servers to start up based on two different old repacks. Now I want to learn how to compile Mango's zero. But I have never compiled anything before, HTML being my only coding background and am totally lost as of now. I'm doing this primarily as a learning experience.

So far without asking a forum ive successfully run servers, modified minor game functions using an SQL editor, and some other minor issues. I don't want to waste peoples time, nor ask you to do it for me. But could i get a nudge in the right direction for compiling mangos zero?

I think the MaNGOS installation guide is the right thing for you to start off and learn how to compile and set up your own server.

Compiler is actually very simple, just add functionality, you need to learn some basic of c + +. You can try to find some existing code to test.
