I hope that this will help users install Mangosthree. Some of the information here will also help the Windows users too. I'm going to make my plea here: If you have an old space PC, consider installing Linux on it because this guide helps you tweak and optimize the code for any PC. You might be surprised how well it works on a minimal PC. I'm running my server on a netbook featuring an Intel Atom single core CPU (dual thread) with 2GB of DDR 800. That's pretty lowbar but it runs very well and uses very little electricity. Linux allows you to do this very well.
