WAN configuration - lan unable to join

Hi every one (:

I have set up a MaNGOS zero rel20 server, tested it in a LAN configuration it worked ok.

Now i am trying to set it open to public using a DNS so i changed the local adress to my no-ip under the realmd.realmlist table. And added mylocalip[tab]myno-ip into the windows host files of the server and my Lan Pc's.

And join using myno-ip in the realmlist.wtf

All the people outside my network are able to join the server but me and my Lan Pc's...

Anyone have an hint to solve this please?

In mangosd.conf you want to set that to local IP

In realmd.conf you want to set that to local IP

In the realmd database under the realmlist table you want to set that to the public IP (Zero does not support DNS).

You want to connect to set the DNS in your realmlist.wtf on your local lan PC.

Finally make sure that both the realmd and mangosd ports are both forwarded from your router to the local lan address.

This configuration has been tested and works. We do not support private/public servers beyond the scope of connecting that I have listed above.
