  1. Server Info

    Revision 10403

Using script library: ScriptDev2 (No revision shown :/)

Using World DB: UDB 0.12.0 (392)

    Using creature EventAI: ACID 3.0.4

    Problem

Mobs seem to randomly show as green in the client, still if they are normally hostile to the player they will still attack and you'll be left to their mercy while you can't do anything back

I have checked DB entry info, and not all mobs of the same type are affected just a few, so some still appear correctly. Yet their DB data is exactly the same

    Reproduction

Tricky as it is seemingly random, it seems to affect a certain type of mob at a time, wasn't able to pinpoint anoything

    Custom Patches

AHBot, GM Mail, Auto Broadcaster. I have carefully investigated these patches and am 100% sure that they aren't causing this.

  2. I'm leaving to eventually hopefully come back with better understanding of WoWd's, I've found someone that is willing to help me learn how "Some Other WoWd" works and by learning that I hope I will be able to learn more about MaNGOS.

Cyber I wish you the best of luck with AHBot if you are willing to open up a new thread I will modify my main post to redirect players to it.

  3. I recompile this morning with today's xeros155 repo and I have these strange errors

    strange isn't it ?

Yeah, I did encounter them too, and they went away after a while, yet I have no clue why they are occurring because I removed all code that called that function.

@Cyberium: Have you encountered this during development of your branch ?

    Update

Linux compilation errors should be fixed now.

  4. Don't understaind what you are refering. mangosd.conf? I only forget to set correct default value for general use in place of my test value...

For example http://github.com/cyberium/mangos/commit/34d36578dd44697bfda23bc074d669e284e02951#diff-8 why did you modify genrevision ?

The SQL table was a good idea, today we begin to have :

    mangods.conf

    scriptdev.conf

    realmd.conf

    playerbot.conf

and another one for ahbot ?

    SQL is your friends :)

That might indeed be a good idea, however we should check if there's a way to use the already made config libraries/tools as to avoid a lot of rewriting

I have now in xeross155 ah these debug output

I was wondering how to remove them please ?

I think I added them as normal output I'll degrade them to debug output or something

  5. Cyber slow down dude, I can't keep up with porting all the changes you're making ^^

Also check what you commit Cyber, I've checked 2 commits of you so far and you've commited changes to files that shouldn't be changed in the first place.

I also understand some of the config variables in the DB should be in the config file, but can we reload them if they are. And also for the per-item modifications I think for that using the DB would be best.

I have tryed to create a patch but it seems I received a lot of more code thant expected (more thant 10 times the size of an "auctionhouse.patch")

    Did I make a mistake ?

Updated the first post, copy the new command to make a patch and it should work again.
