  1. Agreed. In "Merging" I mean this by where the forums are located. To Co-Locate the forums for the Core and DB in one location would be a move in the right direction (In my opinion). The Luda brings a good point... The questions is right now "Where" the work should continue and move forward from this point. The Original theory was that we were to keep the 3 distinct parts of the community separate (Core/DB/Scripting) for various reasons I will not go into. But as has been seen with other projects there appears to be no problems with having all projects/sections co-located. With the community getting smaller overall, it makes sense to bring the smaller groups all together into one larger community.
  2. This would be greatly appreciated. It is time we start pulling everything together into once place. Having everything scattered all around just does not make any sense anymore.
  3. Yes, I am talking about TBC-DB. I am now well on the way to getting 1.1.1 release finished. If anyone has any fixes and contributions they can make them on ACID forums at SD2. This is currently only place I have that work can be done while UDB forums forums are down. I do appreciate any and all help. My time is very limited but refuse to let this die.
  4. I am looking to work with people to try and facilitate any kind of merging of TBC-DB (and any others who want to help). Right now since UDB forums are gone I will be posting TBC-DB release information on SD2 ACID forums.
  5. If anyone is working on One project I am willing to help out. I have a TBC-DB update pack 1.1.1 that is near complete for release. I am still kicking around on SD2 forums. My time is very limited but I am not completely gone. My problem is for one project I have been the ONLY one developing for it. If I was to work with a few others I would be happy to continue my work as time permits.
  6. Agreed. I am eagerly awaiting for Antiroot to fix the problem and update his repo.
  7. yup, as of current 11490 there is a patching conflict: src/game/Mail.cpp:37
  8. Great Thanks! If you look closely there is a few that should not be sold based on looking at wowhead. AFAIK they are ones with UNK1=-1
  9. Yes, I am using the fine tune version. I will take a look... does anyone already have a compiled list of glyphs IDs? I must also say I am VERY impressed with how far AHBOT has come. I hope we are getting close to getting it accepted into the core. I also want to comment on the DRAMATIC improvement to system stability with the current version VS the much older AHBOT I used to use some time ago. I had quit using it due to stability issues in general.
  10. Great, I did get it made for 11481 (since that was version I was working with at the time). So it is working good (I will create new patch when I decide to update core again). I have one question, how do I get AHBOT to list Glyphs? I am using default config settings and there is 0 Glyphs listed (I know I had this problem with previous AHBOT versions as well). Would be nice if I could get that working.... Prob some setting required in config???
  11. Hey guys, your local GIT idiot is asking a stupid question again. can someone please provide the basic bash commands to create a new patch from antiroot's repo? I used to use Xeross Instructions back in the day but it does not seem to work (it was Xeross branch specific). Thanks for your help guys as I would like to create a current patch.
  12. I am interested in this for Mangos One as well.
  13. This is fantastic. Long awaited and you have my support too. By chance has anyone ported this for Mangos One?
  14. This is critical for planned work to complete some Instance Events (Such as Zul'Farrak). I fully support that this patch please be reviewed in a reasonable amount of time so any changes/fixes can be addressed so we can continue the development of our work in UDB/ACID. Thank You!
  15. Also please visit UDB Forums as I have now taken TBC-DB (Formerly known as TBCDB) under my wing. There is now a DB Section again at UDB Forums for the 2.4.3 DB Project. I am slowly getting the DB up to where it should be. It will be the official 2.4.3 UDB DB Project for Mangos 0.12 Currently I have a single SVN commit that is just all the old TBCDB stuff rolled together and better organized. But I have also included core patch rollups to quickly get your DB's up to date when setting up a new DB. I am right now working on fixing up the console errors and get us to a solid point where I can release a new Full DB that will be the building point for the DB project.
  16. Yes Xeross, to be honest both you and cyberium should collaborate and just get this project in the damn core once and for all. You both have the ambition and I suggest while it still interests you both to get it done before you lose interest. for the record I make a patch from Cyberium's repo and applied it to core as of last night. Worked great and is up and running. Thank You!
  17. Oh guys, your right... this is getting stupidly confusing and I am not even a rookie. Can someone please post information for the best (and up to date) AHBOT that I can implement? I have been without AHBOT since Narcissium left. I remember when Mangos implemented NO Player requirement and I like this idea. I quite honestly do not have the time to sift through 17 pages of talk to find the information for one of these different branches since I prefer to spend my time working on my own development of ACID. I would appreciate someone outlining repo addy and related info so I can make my own patch (Since I am not a C++ or GIT Guru). Thanks guys!
  18. Hey guys, I am trying to get this working but repo seems very outdated. Does anyone have a link to a working patch or Xeross can you update your repo so I can create my own patch... right now there is far too many differences between current mangos and Xeross branch that the patch completely blows up and fails to apply. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  19. The Reason I say this is that I have seen this behavior before. I am sure he has lost interest in WoW most likely and has moved on. The fact we have not seen ANY information or commits or fixes from him (Even critical ones) is a tell-tale sign. I have been around the community long enough to see people come and go many times. And AHBOT has all the signs of being abandoned. So the next step is whatever you guys decide. This is a sad tragedy. If people had listen to me before and taken the steps required to prepare this addon for core Integration this would not be an issue anymore. Vladimir was happy with it for the most part except for one major issue... and that was the requirement for a player to list items. He suggested coding it so an NPC from in-game could list the items. Now a year later and we are no further ahead... So my only hope is whoever takes on AHBOT is actually willing to do something with it... not just be a patch monkey with no real coding changes.
  20. I think Naicisum is now gone. I think he has left the community... I think I see this project starting to die now.
  21. So what is happening with AHBOT? IS it working and is there a proper patch for the core.
  22. Just tried the patch for 9609 and failed to patch: problem is AuctionHouseHandler.cpp:27 I don't think Naicisum is coming back either....
  23. Thank you for the patch file. I will test it out when I get home tonight. Unclenuke: I know you are a big fan and I really appreciate it, It is also the fans who drive the developers also. If you have limited knowledge and really want to help SQL is FAR FAR easier to learn then C++ so you may be able to help UDB or ACID projects. When I started with the community I did not even know what SQL even was... so that shows where I came from. The only thing I can do with C++ is pretty much completely crash anything I touch (If it even compiles to start with). Basic SQL commands cab be learned very quickly and I would say in less then a week you will be rock and rolling with SQL. Just helping provide some direction for you.
