how to detect memory leaks under *nix\\win64? my developer machine has 5GB of memory and win7 64, and centos 5.5 on virtual machine

qsa: before commit 4c154a764cba03560d0d176528d4ea3c06f6328a memory usage was 6.5Gb after 2d uptime. But, maybe this crazy memory usage is my bad seems like I forgot to backport some code I will test it today. And thank you
