  1. I'm referring to the mechanic where the enemy gets suspicious and turns towards your stealthed character but doesn't attack (unless facing you gives him enough of a detection boost that he sees through your stealth). If he doesn't end up fully detecting you, he turns back to his previous facing after some number of seconds (see video, below). Video of it happening at 6:24 (in Classic, not vanilla, but I don't think that matters): https://youtu.be/1GrSZdrrZ74?si=guQ_11Z99TnEYyUF&t=384 I'm also including a screencap of weird, janky behavior that happens when you approach at an angle where the enemy should be able to see you just out of the corner of his eye. Is this a buggy attempt at implementing partial detection, or is it unrelated? (the enemy would move towards me for half a second and then reset, which is why I'm behind him in the pic)
  2. Tried against: Defias Rogue Wizard Defias Pillager Black Dragon Whelp It does interrupt the spell, but then the enemy just starts casting it again almost immediately. When fixing, remember that interrupt school lockouts and silence and two different things. Kick locks out a school, but does not silence (unless you have the right talent).
  3. Sources are unclear, but based on the quest text and the current-day wiki, it seems like you should have to finish Return to be offered Scales. According to the wiki, A Baying of Gnolls should also have Return as a prereq.
  4. The meat inside the meatwell is probably supposed to be invisible (with the meat being a placeholder graphic), most likely serving one of the following purposes: *An invisible VFX emeatter, or *A proximity detector to see if the player is standing inside a moonwell when creating mooncloth.
  5. It is unlikely that this is intentional. The NPC should probably offer one of the three quests depending on which city he is in. I have only done incidental testing as part of normal gameplay. Other similar parts of the game might also be affected (like the emissaries in other cities, or the horde ones).
  6. No reason to believe that that's supposed to happen.
  7. The mail should probably have a subject and a body, and it definitely shouldn't contain an item from an unrelated Silithus quest. The correct gift/attachment is a Lucky Red Envelope: https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=21746 The linked comments also have some suggestions about what the text might have been.
  8. I've only done incidental testing as part of normal gameplay. Happens with Light Leather and Cured Light Hide. Does not seem to happen with cooked food or bandages. I don't recall exactly how the 'Made by' tag worked in vanilla, but it obviously shouldn't appear on stackable items. Maybe only on equipment.
