Resist what? I am 1337!
When a creature resists a warlock's "Drain Soul", the animation continues on the client and you cannot cast spells unless you move and break the spell. When DS is resisted, it should stop instantly. Also, if you DS is resisted and you allow it to continue, it will continue even after the mob has died. I suppose it is viewed as your warlock being so awesome that he can drain the soul from a dead corpse! However, you do not gain the soul when it ends.
