ok now i have a big problem

# Go into your ScriptDev2 source folder, then into the "sql" folder, and open scriptdev2_create_structure_mysql.sql in Notepad, copy all the contents, then paste it into the SQL query box to the right of SQLyog then select the "scriptdev2" database in the database list on the left side of SQLyog (make sure all of the text in the query box is selected before moving on) (click here for an image)

Ok first i have copy it..

then past in query, but when i click on start button then come: No query(s)were executed. Please enter a query in the SQL window or place the cursor inside a query.

and this Repeat the above two steps, but this time for scriptdev2_script_full.sql in the same scriptdev2 sql folder and for mangos_scriptname_full.sql (for mangos_scriptname_full.sql, have the mangos database selected instead of the scriptdev2 database) (click here for an image) wtf the scren ist down i dont know what u mean

humm ... incision in the db mangos revision 10 136 within the directory mangos \\ source \\ sql \\ updates are the updates I believe we should run the updates from 10342_01_mangos_mangos_string revision "to" a10457_01_mangos_spell_proc_event.

I could not do this test because I'm working at night but will try.

but now i get a new error..

I did all these updates, too....but nothing changed.

try to do the following: take character.sql and run the query into the freshely created clean character database, then do the realmd.sql into the clean realmd database those files are in /source/sql/ folder.

and i have a question too. I installed new mangos server, the compilation worked fine, i did 64bit version, after that i installed UDB database, and started the server. When i tried to make some starting DK quests i couldn get past the part when you supposed to kill 1 chained guy with your new runed sword. The key triggered the lock, but nothing happened then. After that i used .die command and the tried to make next quest where you need to look at 4 buildings using the magic eye, and when i activate the eye obelisk or whatever, i get interrupted message instantly and i have that smokey effect but i move with my character, not flyuing with the eye, and also i couldnt get out of that starting castle, flypoint drakes didnt have option to fly down, they were just having greeting dialog hello name_of_my_character . Aftert that i tried to install different DB, YTDB but that didnt help at all, i still cant get theat magic eye working and flypoint undead gryphons still wont work. If anyone knows what i did wrong or what should i do to fix that please help me, cheers.

I just want to say that this is the best guide ive followed, i have made a few servers over the years now, and everytime i start over i always follow a guide to get it 100% right. However this time i did something wrong, which ive never done before.

1) Everything is done, but when i try to launch realmd.exe and mangosd.exe its says "Could not find configuration file realm.conf / mangosd.conf" whats up with this? If someone know whats wrong i would appreciate some pointers on how to solve this, i also noticed i do not have an "error log file" or anything in my mangos folder "C:/Mangos", any idea what n where i did it wrong?

When you are in the query window, do a select all, then run it. Only works when the text is selected for some reason.

* The UDB I'm using is the "UDB_0.12.0_mangos_9582_SD2_1639.sql"

* Scriptdev2: At this stage I stopped, according to the tutorial of our friend I should open with Notepad the file scriptdev2_create_structure_mysql.sql, copy and paste everything (using SQLyog) Query box, click the database to select and select entire text of the query (Ctrl A) in the following section click the play button (which is a blue ball with a triangle inside) but I do not think I'm successful in this part, SQLyog gives the following message:

@Pedro6i : I had same problem, didn't matter i had scriptdev2 db selected.. so i just imported it like with the other db's.

@Seed : Install a packed DB like the guide says (UDB, YTDB, whatever u want)

u will get a message that tell u load the previous mangos_spell_proc_event.sql file do it until no message dn do reverse operation...

hi, i am using Mangos, for like 1 year, and until now it worked without problems, but now i kinda get some error with github.. after i put the source location and target directory i get this error :

Anyone knows why i got this error? and how i should fix it?

Following the instructions step 7: I placed the ad.exe app in my wow folder and opened it... nothing happens. A CMD prompt flashes on my screen. Too quick for me to read what it says. So Now I cant get the DBC and Maps folders I need to continue.

Any Solutions?

First of all, get sure you are using client 3.3.5a, not a 4.whatever. If you do so, it is mayby an error in your client, try to repair the client by the repair.exe and then start the ad.exe again.

I heard something for downgrading through deleting the "patch.mpg" in the \\data\\ folder from client, followed by using the repair program, but I never tried this, but the easiest way should be to reinstall and stop updating with the launcher at the needed version.

At the installer I used nearly a year ago, I could select to install only classic, classic + BC or Classic, BC and WotLK. Maybe the newest installer also provide this system with cataclysm added, this could make it easier to install just the WotLK Client @ 3.3.5a, but I not tested this yet.
