Quick and dirty GIT Guide!

I'm getting an error when I install msysgit:

Error during execution ""C:\\msysgit\\bin\\sh.exe" --login -i".
The system cannot find the file specified.

What do I need to change for this to work?

how i can get one commit and not the hole big part of commits in one repo...

for example this:

git pull git://github.com/mangos/mangos.git master eh123sd

but this command is not the right one...

anybody can help ?

there is no way to know what rev i am compiling ,that's what i understand from this post

but how come people post compiled rev with no# or there is another mangos source
