problem with questlog language

Hello,

after reading your "How to" it wasn't very difficult to create a WoW server, runs very well.

But i have still one annoying problem. The names + title of the NPC character, the selling items at vendor and the questlog are in english.

My installation based on a german client. The voices of the NPCs and the introducing video are in german.

The DBC-Locales is mangosd.conf is set on "auto" and find "deDe" (seeing in server.log)

Could you give me a hint?

so if i understand you correct you want your Server to display german Names.

This could be done applying the gmdb (german database).

I think here was the svn: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gm-db/

https://gm-db.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gm-db

just download it and apply all locales on it.

yes, that's the right hint.

After applying the gm-db i got german quests, a big plus.

But the npc and vendor items are still in english.

Now i know It has something to do with gm-db.

this should be managed with this file: https://gm-db.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gm-db/trunk/locales_item.sql

Maybe you didn't apply all sql files or got just a wrong folder of gmdb.

Hello,

it works.

Each time i tested i was in Narache (Mulgore) and only there i have the english expressions.

I found out by accident that at other places all stuff are in german.

It worked right after applying the sql statement, but i didn't know that.

it's me again.

I got the solution for that riddle by a PM.

After deleting my cache folder i have, surprise, surprise, also in Narache all in german.

Sometimes i feel so stupid ...
