Loot tables

might be a silly question, but what is the difference between creature_loot_table and item_loot_table? I am confused on why there is a item_loot_table. thanks!

item_loot_table is for items like http://old.wowhead.com/item=15902 that contain loot.

item_loot_table is for items that contain loot, and of course creature_loot_table is for creatures that contain loot.

However this is database related, anything database related should be posted in their respective forum in future, thanks.
