Linux compile on windows

Hey guys, this might be a weird question... but is there a way to compile a linux version of MaNGOS on windows?

I guess in theory it should be possible, but does anyone know of a way that it can be done?

The main reason for doing this is because the computer I want to use as a server has linux on it, but I find compiling on windows much easier than on linux, where it is a complete pain.

No, even if you do it on windows it will be the same process as on linux. You should compile the core on the system you are going to run it on. Its not really difficult on either system but you just have to get over the hurdle once you should try and make a script so it does it automatically for you everytime.

go install fedora..

"yum groupinstall "Development Tools" -y"

cd to/mangos/source/directory

chmod +x configure

make

it's literally that easy..
