[Two] Problem with extractor

I have compiled the server and loaded all sql files on a linux box. I am having a problem though with extracting maps, vmaps, and mmaps. When i run the tools i get an error (on my windows box) saying the mscrv100.dll file is missing. I have it loaded in my system32 folder and have rebooted a couple of time since placing it there. Is there a way to the needed map files without the dll? or can anyone share their server 4.3.4 files with me? I know they can not be posted here

Or even if you could share working extractors with me that would be great.

i would put the dll in the same folder as the .exe's you are running - works for me

- Just make sure its the right one, as there are several different versions

Antz I have done that also. When i try to extract on my linux box following the guide at http://getmangos.eu/bb/search/430969217/ the script can't find vmap* But I have put the dll in the same folder, in windows, syste, and system32 with no luck. It might be the dll but i have tried several downloads of the dll with the same result. Yes, they are all downloaded from different servers.

okay i got them to stop erroring but now during the extraction i get a lot of errors when building the vmaps and mmaps i.e. file name to long or file can't be read. Any idea of how to fix this?

The Zul'gurub errors are normal and can safely be ignored

As for 2nd lot, not 100% sure, might be ok though

Final output for the extractor is posted at http://darkhome.homeip.net/mangos_build.htm any input would be appreciated going to load them to the server and see if it run.

when I try to run the server. I extracted from the right client build using the current revision and the tools from that server revision. WTF how can I fix this?

I found the missing MPQ's and re-ran ad.exe it gets to STC_Mine_BG map 162 and errors. i ran the repair utility and rebooted my comp with no luck. What can i do?

Hmm , can you try running the server with vmaps swtiched off - just to check that the rest is ok

disabled vmaps and all started up with no errors and I was able to get to server command prompt

You are missing columns in your characters database. How did you create your database?
