I can't seem to update to fix this. FIXED!!!

So, it's not usually difficult to update but nothing I do satisfies this one and I had suspected an error somewhere in the database. Has anybody else had this same error in Linux?

I tried this:

Absolutely. You're not alone with this.

As you can read in this topic it seems like the update files are messed up at the moment.

I've just checked the files and in my opinion you should have no problems if you use this database and apply the following update files into it.

[li]12752_01_mangos_reputation_spillover_template.sql[/li]

With this, you have the most recent database for MaNGOS Three.

Since you're core is asking you for an older database version it couldn't be bad to update your core aswell. Just to be sure.

I used that one and still the error. I used another Mangos fork and it doesn't have this error. It instead has an error with the map files. ;-) I'll read the other forum link you gave me and see if there are answers yet.

Please login to something like phpmyadmin and alter the table column structure to what the .sql file is requiring in this case.

It looks like you are using a character database that is either old or from another project.

Change:

required_c12763_01_characters_various_tables

to

required_12697_01_characters_characters

After making this change the sql file should run without any issues.

AH HA! Madmax, I think you found it!! Maybe the old one didn't get dropped like it should! I'm going to see if I can clean up all the Mysql databases and install fresh!!

I'm confirming now that this solution from Madmax has worked perfectly and I used the files that Hikari cited to get everything working. Now, I only have to solve the vmaps, maps, dbc and mmaps problem but I don't expect it to be a problem!
