Scriptdev2 error [zero]

In my efforts to fix my problems from -- https://www.getmangos.eu/help-amp-support/9781-cant-create-characeters-missing-sql-write-values-zero.html -- I've taken to attempting to get scriptdev2 properly configured on my server in the off chance it might help (spent about 3 hours today T_T)

Although I tried first to use the standalone https://github.com/scriptdev2/scriptdev2-classic version- but it was not compatible for reasons I wont bother getting into for now -

I then tried the scipt2dev files that were included with mangos zero:

I'm quite certain I set up the database properly; as I applied the "full.sql" to the script2dev schema and the "mangos_scriptname_full.sql" to the mangos schema without error;

I moved "mangos-scripts.dll" (and "mangos-scripts.exp" and "mangos-scripts.lib" just in case) to the directory where mangosd.exe resides.

I also moved the scriptdev2.conf file; and double checked to make sure the syntax is virtually the same as the mangos.conf (save for the schema that is declared in the last parameter) - which is the only possible line that could produce error (save for the conf version #; which for me is 2012112301)

yet I get the following output from the scriptdev2 logs:

2014-05-15 14:13:48 Unable to open configuration file. Database will be unaccessible. Configuration values will use default.

2014-05-15 14:13:48 Configuration file version doesn't match expected version. Some config variables may be wrong or missing.

2014-05-15 14:13:48 Missing Scriptdev2 database info from configuration file. Load database aborted.

... I guess Its funny cause solving this probly has nothing to do with the much more immediate threat that the above forum post link is posing for me.

EDIT: It is labeled as scriptdev2.conf already b boy

hiya, I know it's a long shot... the file is called scriptdev2.conf and not scriptdev2.conf.ini
