Hey folks, me and my friends have been working on trying to compile and set up the mangoszero release 19 with ike3 aiplayerbot on windows8, however we dont seem to be able to find any guid to help us through the whole process, this is our frist time trying this and so we are really new and inexperianced with the whole process, I dont have any errors to link because we just keep cleaning out the files re downloading everything and trying from scratch however for three days we have tried tirelessly to find out how to set this up, and we have been met with nothing but failure and frustration, my friends and i discussed it and we were just curious if anyone would be able to either give an extremely detailed set up guide for us to do this from point a of downloading the git repo's to point z of running the server and connecting our friends to it...if not that then anyone who would be able to walk us through the steps would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the help we are giving it a try right now!, just curious though, for adding aiplayerbots to the server what is the best method of doing that?, it would be nice to have some bots to run around and play against but there doesn't appear to be a single guide on how to add ike3's aiplayerbots in to a freshly compiled server.

I have successfully merged ike3's aiplayerbot with the Rel19 release of MangosZero using Code Compare by Devart. From that point it took some time to adapt the original aiplayerbot code to the most recent Mangos release, mostly due to changes in function/class names (e.g. isDead() in the aiplayerbot code is now IsDead() in Rel19). The resulting code is functionally playable, but there are still definite bugs (e.g. bots will not loot gameobjects). I am planning to set up a repo on GitHub as soon as I can find some time to figure out how (my knowledge of GitHub is pretty basic) and keep working on getting it up to date and more polished.
