Hello,

I have been playing around in the release 20 version of Mangos zero with all sql updates executed. What I have noticed is the amount of herbs spread around in zones like Teldrassil, Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, Westfall and Loch Modan are all pretty low. I'm not sure, perhaps this was the norm in Vanilla. I must admit I have no experience with the pooling system and how it works.

I picked all the herbs in

Elwynn Forest and got 20 Silverleaf, 11 Peacebloom and 5 Earthroot from 19 nodes.

Ashenvale and got 11 Stranglekelp, 8 Briarthorn, 8 Bruiseweed, 6, Wild Steelbloom, 5 Mageroyal, 3 Swiftthistle, 2 Liferoot from 16 nodes.

Azshara and got 12 Purple Lotus, 8 Sungrass, 6 Mountain Silversage, 3 Golden Sansam, 2 Blindweed from 14 nodes.

Durotar and got 29 Silverleaf, 21 Peacebloom and 3 Earthroot from 24 nodes.

Mulgore and got 18 Peacebloom, 11 Silverleaf, 9 Earthroot from 21 nodes.

I also found Stranglekelp outside of water, which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to be the case (confirmation needed)

I mined alle the veins in

Elwynn Forest and got 33 Copper Ore, 6 Rough Stone and 1 Tigerseye from 11 nodes.

Then there's: The Barrens. I'll let the screenshot below speak for itself. This is not one area, this is the entire Barrens like this.

I'll do more zones if more data is needed.

If this needs updating, I'm definitely up to the task.

Very interesting, did you enable the newer pooling system in the mangosd.conf? pretty sure it was disabled by default.

In the config, only mining is mentioned in this context, but no herbalism. I remember the colleague working hard on gathering ore node data while implementing the scheme.

On the other hand, herbalism may be simpler because of no mutability of a flower at each point. I.e. the same flower is spawned at a point, in contrary to the ore. Am I wrong about this?

When I try to enable mine pooling I get the following error sadly :(

Have you guys checked it out on your own server? This is a fresh develop21.

EDIT: since updating to develop21 I notice a lot more nodes everywhere. I've only checked Loch Modan but the entire place is swarming with nodes.

EDIT: I should have mentioned that I have the setting below a lot higher than the standard. This makes checking the nodes a LOT easier!
