Mangos zero to mangos one

Hi guys is it possible to upgrade the zero to mangos one ??

because i made a backup of the zero database and  want to  upgrade it to mangos one but alle the updates refuse  due lack of the version  table is there any way to update it easy and hold  all the data of the gamers?

Wel its the standard database.  And i copied  the zero over the  one database the chars and realmd sofar i can log in but not enter the world it loads the world and ten  get kicked out  im gonna try this cleanup tool for fun to check if it works . thnx for the tip!!!!!!

Okay  a little update. So far  im checking the charakters database now by hand. The differense of all the tables  im olmost ready with that and will give an update about it .Keep in mind that i have atm no guilds on the server and  no honor points  or arena teams or what ever.So that part   are people to there own  but its quite easy to do that. Its the  same as blizzard you need to reset talents  honor points   etc  to get it working.

well as for now  i take the database world  from mangos one and use that. Realmd is the same  from zero as one  so no problem to use it.  As for now ive total written an update  for characters database  to upgrade it from zero to one rel21.  Still need to test it but i think im damn close   If i made it ill post the quaries and stuff for it.

Ok this is it  so far . i use the world db  of mangos one  transfer my  realmd to the realmd  of one  and also transfer  my characters to one .

 

here is the stuff i used to get it up to date  KEEP in mind this needs to be tested tomorrow  if all is quiet  on server . If this works its all updated to rel 21 of mangos one.

I have relayed this to @antz, from memory I don't think there is a way to upgrade from Zero to One, this is something I have expressed interest in myself in the past.

Have you customised your world database at all ?

If you haven't, then it's effectively only the Realm and Character Databases which need to be modified

- Since the Realm database is now a common database among the cores, once you have it up to date
- it will be current across the cores, the only change needed will be to set the expansion flag on the accounts to include TBC.

The character db will require a bit more work

There is an old script in the MangosOne Database repo in the tools\cleanup folder... but I have never run it, so am unsure whether it works or needs work done.
