  1. Well that was unhelpful... For 1 i know its unsupported but i was also noting the fact that the new level will be 85 and it stops at 81. For 2, ive been trying to disable the spell for 16 hours, and i cant figure it out and i have yet to have any helpful response on how to disable the spell. I am not bashing any developers or recent commits. Please make sure you actually read my reply before making one. Edit - Its ok i have just disabled it myself finally lol.. but its still broke and should be looked at.
  2. Yeah not sure what the anti-cheat guy was talking about i do not have anti-cheat at all lol. And yeah i dont understand the above level 80 thing either Lynx3d i just know it was working fine before the map updates. And i dont see how your getting crashes on mind control with NPCS it works fine for me on NPCS but it crashes when used on PLAYERS. I cant believe this is still not fixed, or someone has at least told a way to disable it lol this is freaking killing me.
  3. spell_disable was a patch wasn't it that someone made? If so no i don't have it, i was hoping someone would know how to just disable it in the core.

  5. Can anyone else confirm this.. And does anyone know in what file or area i can disable mind control or at least break it so it doesn't work right lol.
  6. I am on the latest rev.. I do have custom patches but none of them effect the situations i have described as there more for external use. VMAPS is fully enabled on my servers, we have found that 81 and below it is still a sanctuary, above 81 it because a normal hostile zone. Which still doesn't make since because the next level bracket will be 85. Before i updated to the new changes to vmaps it was still a sanctuary at any level, normal or custom. Avenging Wrath was crashing the server but that got fixed, mind control still crashes the server instantly pretty much for me. EDIT - Mind Control works perfectly fine on any creature, BUT when you use Mind Control on another player, after some time it crashes the server not instantly but while your mind controlling the player. AGAIN only crashes when using it on a player.
  7. Im getting reports from some testers of mine that Mind Control is crashing the server instantly, They have tested this several times. Also after the updates to vmaps and etc etc, Dalaran is no longer a proper sanctuary, and people can kill each other to there hearts content.

  11. I'm sorry Lynx3d i was not trying to make you upset, or ask any "newbie" questions. I was just wondering where you were at with this amazing project, as i stopped following it for a little bit. Thanks for the update, and again sorry to upset you. Please keep working on it btw, its a great project, best one i have seen besides npc pathing.

  14. so ive been trying to catch up on the topic.. It works for 32bit base linux systems proper? but not x64 because i have a Debian 64bit linux server x.x
  15. I updated to latest rev recently and now none of the battlegrounds will start. Even if there are 40+ testers que'd for Warsong Gulch it will never start. If i put it to debug mode the battlegrounds will of course start, but they wont start normally by themselves anyone know why this is?
  16. Hello everyone i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I would like to be able to set a different xp/loot rate etc if the users account has value for it. For instance put it on to the account table if the custom column senior_member has 1 value in it there rates will be higher than the normal new players. This is obviously a core and sql change, so i was wondering if someone could put me in the right direction. This type of feature could also be useful as an event prize, among others things for people who do not like to add much item customization.

  19. My web developer made a complete mail index via php that connects the ids of the items to the mail but any who moving on from that. Im surprised no one has figured out why you have to relog, im beginning to think its just not updating the session to the player.. The other external mail patch let you receive mail while logged in so something must be missing to update the player and say "hey you gots mail" sad thing is i haven't looked at it hard enough to see why it isn't pushing to the player unless they relog and it reloads all there mail, and other junk.
  20. Hi i was wondering if Faction Change was just another flag/opcode set/sent to the client like Re-Customization. Or is it a flag + server side things required to make it usable. I was wondering why this hasnt been released as i figured it might be simple to do. Im pretty sure the client sets the restrictions by itself, you would just have to tell it what to change in the DB right? But i guess that also goes hand in hand with what spells to change etc. Input anyone?
  21. I have a question i play retail but ive never played a warrior and i have had some "testers" come up to me and ask this question.. Can a warrior with titans grip use a pole arm in the main hand? Is this possible on retail since i have not played warrior on retail i have no clue to be honest. Because it currently stands in MaNGOS a warrior can equip a pole arm in the main hand. Anyone have any known facts on this. ------- Edit - So i went and checked myself on retail and asked warriors and its obvious you can NOT dual wield a polearm in any fashion with titans grip. So thats def a bug in MaNGOS coding its missing a check for that :3
  22. This bug actually went away for a while because i was having no issues at all during 3.3.2 with that. Now 3.3.3 is here and the bug is back and its terribly annoying. :[
