  1. Just installed and tested it. Awesome tool! ;D I have a suggestion: For user, who are running multiple servers (e.g. MaNGOSone and MaNGOStwo), it would be a huge benefit to be able to enter all the databases at once. This means: 5 fields for mangos DB, Characters DB and Scriptdev2 DB at the login screen (Realmd stays at one field of course). I can imagine that this would complicate the view of the Characters in the Accounts tab, but perhaps another column, that shows from which server that character is, would be enough. Also some actions would have to include checks so that the content will be written to the right DBs, I think. Also, is there a way to make MaNGOLin properly display ß, ä, ü, ö? Another thing I found: On line 54, info_realm_delete= Shouldn't the text advise the user to make a backup of the realm db instead of the CharactersDB?
  2. Hi Bannor, I started to translate the .txt you linked into the german language. Much of it's content is context-sensitive though, which means that I have to try it implemented into MaNGOLin. Is this possible from here (e.g. just have to install it and then overwrite the txt with the translated)?
  3. This thread is for everyone who wants to learn C++, the language in which most of MaNGOS is written in. In the following I will list up some useful sites, videos, playlists and whatever sources there are related to C++. More will be added by and by. If you know sources that aren't listed here, please don't hesitate to post them. //Websites [li]http://www2.its.strath.ac.uk/courses/c/[/li] [li]http://www.maultech.com/chrislott/resources/cstyle/[/li] [li]http://www.parashift.com/c++-faq-lite/[/li] [li]http://yosefk.com/c++fqa/index.html[/li] [li]http://geosoft.no/development/cppstyle.html[/li] [li]http://geosoft.no/development/unittesting.html[/li] [li]http://en.cppreference.com/w/[/li] [li]http://sourceforge.net/p/predef/wiki/Home/[/li] [li]http://talesofcpp.blogspot.de/[/li] [li]http://talesofcpp.fusionfenix.com/[/li] [li]http://preshing.com/[/li] [li]http://www.learncpp.com/[/li] //Playlists [li] [/li] [li] [/li]
  4. Nice! Now I remember that you told me some time ago via PM that skype goes via textchat too. I think this time I will manage to keep that in mind. :-[ Ok, then it is official: I apply for the position as Moderator for the German / Deutsch area. 8)
  5. Does this mean that we literaly have to be able to speak english or would written english be enough? I'm asking because I'm rather insecure about speaking and listening english. When it comes to talk english, I have almost no experience, for the listening part, I watch most movies with OT but I know these movies. Whoever talks to me in english still needs to talk slow, I think.A skype account can be created fast. I would apply for the German / Deutsch - Area. Edit: Almost forgot the most important question: How much time does this consume? I have a job which is not full-time but I work 7h/day top nonetheless and with alternating shifts (15 - 22 o'clock mostly).
  6. When will this end? It's just childish to me. Live and let live doesn't mean anything nowadays it seems. And it's just about an server emulator for fucking World of Warcraft! It's a fucking hobby, goddamn it!This forum is great btw. Very comfortable. ;D The Insert Quote-function saves a lot of time... And Antz, your new avatar is awesome!
