  1. jdguz Thank you very much... that does help me understand it. I happen to agree with you Kolapse... as much as I am "content" with the old Tortoise SVN, I am always happy to embrace new tools and expand my comprehension of new ideas and technologies. Isn't that what Mangos is all about anyway? Us trying new things... learning how to create something and expanding our horizons? ~I think it is.
  2. I know that question may be a little noob... but I'm just curious, what does the new ACE_Wrapper actually do?
  3. Yes. But can't go into specifics until people sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)
  4. I'm not really sure where to post this, but I thought the community should have the chance to get in on this. I am starting a company that is developing a new MMPORPG with totally new technology. The launch date for the company is March 15th, 2009. We are still putting together our team, but I need the best of the best as we are going up against some very heavy hitters (Blizzard, EA Games, Lionhead, etc.). We already have a fair amount of funding from VC's and Angel Investors and are still putting together more funding. We also have a solid business plan developed and storyline. I am looking for: • TOP NOTCH Server and Client Developers to develop the core and client. (this will be a very special core... I can explain in more detail once we talk) • Animators & Artists Interested candidates should be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and should (ideally, but not neccessarily) be close to Boston, MA or willing to travel and may submit resumes / and or samples to [email protected] Moderators, if you'd prefer this topic not in Mangos, please let me know. I just can't think of a better place than here to find high quality developers.
  5. It get's a little old... after each major blizz update we always end up seeing a bunch of people asking this question... I mean, I want things working as much as everyone else. But come on, it's not like you can reverse engineer something overnight (well... unless you're Vlad, in which case anything is possible. ). It takes time.
  6. Given the large majority of us who are still getting the hang of Git... I think that this topic should be sticky'd. (OMG, we have to use command line? Wait! That means I HAVE TO SPELL right?! lol)
  7. Yeah, actually I noticed it was missing from the main folder and I too was freaking out a little but unlike Dave, I hadn't had the time to hunt it down. Whew! Glad it's not gone.
