  1. there should be details there on how to email the admin if you are having problems.
  2. did you compile master branch? are you running mangos on the machine you compiled on?
  3. password is wrong. Use the same password in the .conf files that you used when installing mysql.
  4. mysql have their own support forums, would probably be the best place to ask.
  5. did you read what arrai said above? do you know what SHA1 is? do you know what SRP-6 is? Try clicking the link arrai posted, it will explain SRP-6. the client does NOT send the password to the server, it would be far to insecure. That is why SHA1 and SRP-6 are used.
  6. the client NEVER sends the password, so there is no need to store the password in the server. The server does not need to know what the password is.
  7. Client editing is illegal and completely unsupported.
  8. 3..2.x is not supported yet.
  9. mangos no longer uses svn, we use git. Please read thye guides and the forum, and this thread is nearly a year old!!
  10. and remember this wont always work. Not only the build number changes, many other things do, so you MIGHT be able to connect with other client versions, but that DOES NOT mean that you will be able to do anything once you are connected
  11. did you even read the forum your posting in? 2 posts below this one, and 4 or 5 below that, there is a LOT of posts about anti-cheat.
  12. i would guess that you already have an instance of mysql running/installed, in which case you have a problem. The error your getting means that your mysql password is not correct, best to stop the running service, uninstall, and reinstall.
  13. delete the c:\\mangos directory, then try again. check firewall and port forwarding. http://www.mysql.com http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/downloads/list google is amazing, isnt it? you need database content. in the bin, include, lib tabs respectively. Output directory will be wherever you told VC++ to make it.
  14. the 'problem' is simple, public servers are illegal, and the Mangos project wants nothing to do with law breaking.
  15. if you cant find one, you didnt look hard enough! try the "database" section of the forum.

lol. Want someone to come around and install it for you to? youve been told where it is, you could also use the search button.
  17. no, because database content should be discussed at your database authors forum, not here.
  18. read the guides/FAQ a bit more, this is asked at least twice a day.
  19. make sure your firewall/router are setup correctly, something seems to be blocking the connection to MySQL (port 3306).
  20. make sure you have admin rights. Scan for virus/spyware/malware. If, after that, it doesnt work, you will probably need to reinstall windows. (theres a lot of information about this on msdn forums, also on the codeguru.com forums)
  21. ask whoever made your database.
  22. you can also follow it on twitter (its in my signature) !
