please keep discussions on this forum to mangos. Problems/questions regarding scriptdev should be posted to their forums.

maybe the best idea would be to check SD2 forums for details of SD2 errors?

not a good idea, too much changes between client versions to make it reliable. If it DID work properly, do you not think that it would be a standard feature? just use 0-12 branch for 2.43 or master branch for 3.0.9 (there is also a 3.1.x development branch, but there is no help or support for it)

for scripting, head over to scriptdev2.com and take a look around, lots of nice info there. I find the easiest way to try and learn is to study other peoples patches/scripts, as they often come with a nice description

read the install guide stickies. Get source from git and recompile. master branch is for 3.0.9 0.12 branch is for 2.4.3

the whole idea of mangos project is to learn about setting up your own test server. You wont learn much by letting someone else do it all for you, will you?

maybe i should have said that "SD2 is not a part of Mangosproject" would that have been clearer? I meant that if you have a problem with SD2, ask at their forums, not here. Same as if you had a problem with your Database, or forum, or site etcetc.

sharing/downloading DBC files is illegal. you will HAVE to extract them.

i didn't say that it was a problem with sd2 just that people need to know to post bugs at the right forum, and that mangos can work without SD2 (although its much more fun WITH SD2 ) sorry for the confusion!

scriptdev2 is NOT required for mangos to work. Scriptdev2 is NOTHING to do with mangos, it is an entirely different and separate project. If you have a problem with scriptdev, report it at their forums.
