Switching to the prepared statement mechanic, rely on them for string escape, as decribed [URL="http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4532572/escaping-string-for-sql-in-c"]here (with a bit excessive work)[/URL]. Tested for different mixing of single and double quotes in a whisper.
