Tauren players are wrong scale!

Works fine for me on R20. I will check again shortly. My main is a shaman and as such, I should notice his size being off. I will try a few things later.

This does not affect Zero. When I login on my shaman and try ".mod scale 1.35", nothing changes. Remember, Tauren are NOT 1.0, they are 1.35! If you are doing 1.0, you are incorrect.

This is on mangos one, .mod scale 1 should return it to the normal size, even if that is 1.35

Right now Tauren look much bigger then they should be. I'll try and get a screenshot later.

That would be a bad idea in my opinion. If 1.0 is normal for everybody else but is actually 1.35~1.40 for Tauren, hwo would I ever know what to scale an entity to? Also, won't One be merged with the Zero branch at some point soon? Seems confusing as heck to me.

I hope that One get merged soon with Zero because of the fixes. (loot-system and that stuff)

They're merged...yay! :)

Scale is 0 for most
1.25 for female Tauren
1.35 for male Tauren

From what I recall when I looked it this, I thought (at the time), that you could use gender to identify the correct scale.
Something like, when populating the world, once you set the scale, you then check for any differences to the default setting, such as IF Tauren && Female THEN Scale = 1.25.

I do not believe females are 1.25. I could swear males are 1.39 and females are 1.29. Oh, and Cairne is like 4.99...

You may be right also. It has been eons since I last played with sizes. Also, I like your avatar. You must be older than I am because I was too young to watch those movies when they came out. I have since seen them, and love the classic horror of those, the first two Friday the 13th, and the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

That avatar is the main one I use. The flag represents the county my family are from on my father's side (mother is Italian), although it is rumoured we were originally from Wales, no proof as yet :( . And Chucky is just my namesake, and no reflection of my mental state :D (most people in RL call me Chuck or Chucky)

I'm going to add to the list of things to do, the acquisition of the scales of the Tauren male and female models. There must be a record of it out there, somewhere.

the scale right now when you log in is 1.35 which is incorrect as madmax mentioned.

if one uses .mod scale 1 the char will return to normal size.


(look at npc tauren scaling which is correct)

The size issue has been corrected at some point.
