    Boats/zeppelin platforms and mounting

    You reach them mounted, you stay mounted, board mounted. As you were;

    You dismount and try mounting back, tells you mounts aren't allowed. Low, but annoying after some days straight :)

    Is this when trying to mount anywhere afterwards, or just on the zeppeline itself?

    Does this happen on boats as well? Pretty sure I know what's causing it, though I think it has been deliberately done for some reason.

    If I recall correctly, you were dismounted when on transports in vanilla. In BC or LK they allowed it. Then again I may be thinking of beta, so this would need confirmation.

    This is what I seemed to remember as well, however I will try and dig for some more information.

    Edit:

    I cannot find an official changelog as to when the dismount was officially changed, however several discussions are to be found on their forums about this feature, and most state this was changed roughly around 3.0. If I had some older patches I could go manually digging for it, however I don't :(

    In vanilla you were dismounted on every transport and could not mount up again on transport.

    So the code is correct, but it SHOULD dismount you when you ride onto a zep/ship. That is the change we need. I would also put this on an 'if' check for the version. If the version is 3.0 or higher, do not dismount and allow mounting, otherwise dismount and prevent it.

    An if check isn't really needed with the separated code bases, just don't add the dismount code to 3+ :P

    It's also dependable on the mount currently.

    Some work fine, some don't dismount you in the very same situation others should have and do.

    btw, the "staying mounted" was added with TBC, i quit before wotlk ever came out, and yet i remember the usual morons sitting at the front end of zeps mounted.
