I'll post an updated version with improved stability in nearest few days. We already got some nice results, ~10% mangos' CPU usage cut on 1500 ppl server. ^_^

I think that with 1500 characters online, definitely is without LoS

Or partial LoS and at least 250ms spell lag. But ofc i'm up for testing too. It's been bugging me for ages that the mainthread is hanging around 80% and ingame lags get bigger and bigger, so anything to fix this...

Patch v1.04 is released. More IsInWorld() checks were added to improve code security. Have fun :)

Tried merging it with 0.12 branch but there are quite alot of conflicts. Solved the most but there are still quite a few left that need a little deeper insight.

Can someone provide a 0.12 version?

amball pls add vs2005 support

Whats the problem with VS2005? Patch compiles ok with it. Maybe I just forgot to remove unneeded .vcproj file modifications I did to debug 'game' proj :huh:

That's a really useful patch, one of the best ones I saw here in the last weeks. The code looks also pretty clean (except the hacks) and every line makes sense. I will test it carefully soon in debug mode and report any upcoming bugs. Keep up your good work :)

In your last solutions for quest with teleport work fine.

Thanks, Wowka321, I'm glad that fix worked :) I saw a crashdump - server died when player casted spell 'Deserter' while being far teleported e.g. not-in-world (NIW). I'll suggest a fix in nearest time.

huh, I doubt I can help with such an old rev ^_^ Tomorrow I'll upload a new patch version where I suppose these bugs will be fixed. Thanks :)
