There is string

extern int main(int argc, char** argv).

Explain, please, why "extern" ?

Because it exists inside another file, prolly game project and must be imported to mangos project to link properly, but this is just guessing ^^,

No, it's defined in the same file too, so that's not it. I don't know what repository and branch you're looking at, but I assume it's the same everywhere, so I had a look at that file in my MaNGOS One repo.

Basically: it's valid and doesn't hurt, but there's no reason to write it. You can safely delete the extern keyword there.

Hm, I also now took a look on it and I also don't understand why it's external ;P Without this keyword project builds ok, but I didn't run the mangosd to check if it's ok. Maybe it's some leftover after some code changes?

are these for the parameters that you can start mangos with ?

iirc.... optional starting as a service and autorestarting on failure

the extern is neccessary to run mangosd as service (as far as i know) cause the extern will make the method accessible, for the service, but i'm not 100% shure
