This is sooooo frustrating. I still cannot get the dumb thing to work for me. I downloaded an ISO, ran the installer and it installed. Got to the end of the installer and it started trying to update me to Pandaris. So, I cancelled and now Cataclysm crashes everytime I try to run it. This is the third time I've tried and had the same result. Anyone got a copy of 4.3.4 that I could just download as is...?

Does anyone else find it strange that something this retarded makes you want to scream, cry and take a baseball bat to your computer when it happens? I just ran a repair, it said it repaired Cataclysm and then it did the exact same thing and crashed. I have no clue what to do. I guess I'll try downloading a patch and see if that fixes it.

My only issue at the moment is that I am still waiting for the cataclysm torrent to find it's peers. It's been doing that for like two hours now. Still no download action yet.

Yeah, nothing at all is happening on my torrent downloads. They are both stuck at finding peers now.

Edit: At least I have copies of the original Vanilla cds with the patches. That will make things a touch easier.

if you need a version, I have basic folders of each client (no addons) that are patched and ready to go. I have the following clients (that were made using original WOW CD, and patched to specific build number)

Wow 3.0.1 (10.2GB) This is a WOTLK base folder I had in case I mispatched to 3.3.5a

wow catalyst 4.3.4 (22.5GB)

wow tbc 2.4.3 (7.96GB)

wow wotlk 3.3.5a (16.6GB)

I also have the carbonite addon for each build. I personally like carbonite as it has pretty much all the features I want and use.

Wow! Carbonite actually sounds useful. I never heard of it until now. I had cartologist and one other mapping add on but neither of them quite cut the mustard and I didn't feel like writing a new addon.
