Error when starting Mangosd

Could not find configuration file /opt/mangos-server/etc/mangosd.conf.

if you are runnning the master branch of Zero rather than the Rel19 branch of Zero try this....

Open mangosd.conf in notepad

select 'Save As' from the menu.

At the bottom change encoding to 'ANSI' and save it.

Branch rev19 build errors

It seems that you're running as root, that's not recommended. Also, how did you invoke cmake?

I got something similar. Maybe it helps.

It took me a day to realize, that the file didnt change into a config file after changeing the name.

I had to change the settings (How to Show File Extension in Windows 7 - Ask About Tech) and then i saw, that

there was still "realmd.conf.in" after changeing that, it was finally a config data and my server started.

I managed this evening to fix the remaining build issue I had for Rel19 on windows and ubuntu - I'm hoping that will bode well for the rest of the linux family.
