How to make a full localization work (text-translation)?

hi,guys.

I want to translate some text in the game.

I downloaded some localization .sql files from internet for mangoszero, and I used those files update a few tables in mangos database:

locales_creature,

locales_gameobject,

locales_gossip_menu_option,

locales_item

locales_npc_text

locales_page_text

locales_points_of_interest

locales_quest

but there are still some text is displayed in English,

so,is there some methods or tools I can use to make the full translation?

Those localizations are pretty neat, but depending on the language you want by far not complete.

Beside of the eight tables you mentioned, there are further tables, which requires translation, too.

In mangos world database in addition to your list:

  • creature_ai_texts
  • db_script_string
  • mangos_string

In scriptdev database:

  • (custom_texts)
  • gossip_texts
  • script_texts

By far the easiest way to translate missing entries is by opening the tables with a graphical database management software like SQLYog or Navicat and see which row isn't localized in your language (empty cell).

Expanding the Localization supported at MaNGOS is something I fully support, where did you get the additional language(s) from, and what were they ?
