database database caused Starting Mongosd [Mangos Three] Failure

I've bean succeed in compiling the Mangos Three, but while execute the database shell, it's warning that there is no file exists under database/update.

I tried to start the realmd and mangosd, the error message as the following image :

Is the database sync with the "server" code ?

Those are the files you need to apply in that order

Let the ancients rest in peace. Those are archived updates, which are no longer needed.

The sql/updates directory in the server repository provides update script for the database, which were introduced by core changes.

From time to time, those core updates gets synchronized with the database repository. Therefore it isn't always necessary to apply all scripts within the sql/updates folder.

No, the server will give you more warnings if it is missing updates after you have ran the ones I linked

I've tried to run the scripts under /updates by order of the file num, and throws error message on the first one. The message as following:

Can you try again with a clean mangos database, also you only need to reply the four files I posted, if you use others you could apply updates twice and cause issues.

What's the means of "clean mangos database"? I drop the database and create it again, and then copy the "updates" folder to "database" folder execute the "install_linux.sh".

the "database" folder is from git server which is specified by the git WIKI.

You can do that, or you can empty the database, I'm not familiar with linux so can't really help with setting a server up on that.

Hi, Currently there's no error with the server compile and database script. But when I tried to use ad.exe (under extrator_binary or compile myself), system throws some exception.

I've copied the Error message :

in file FileStream.cpp Line 2089 assert(pStream->StreamClose != NULL); （this is located by ms visual studio）

Error code : 0x00428CFD

0xC0000005: 0x00000126

Antz says this sounds like an incomplete client, can you try the wow regen tool and let us know how you get on?
